Keeping Safe at School

We care about your safety and happiness. If you ever feel worried or upset, there are people who can help.

You are never alone. There is always someone who cares about you and wants to help.

Who Can I Talk To?

If you have a worry, talk to:
  • Your teacher

  • A teaching assistant

  • The headteacher

  • The safeguarding leads: Mrs Kobak, Mr Witkin, Mrs Whittam, Miss Gordon and Mrs Levy.
  • Another trusted adult in school

Ways To Stay Safe

Always tell a trusted adult if:
  • You feel unsafe at school or home.

  • Someone says or does something that makes you uncomfortable.

  • You see something online that upsets you.

Remember you have all signed the Acceptable use of Devices agreement at the start of each year to keep us all safe whilst we are online.

Internet Safety

Being online is fun, but it’s important to stay safe. Here are some top tips:
  • Keep your personal information private. Don’t share your name, address, or school online.

  • Talk to a grown-up if something online makes you feel upset, confused, or worried.

  • Be kind online – just like you would in real life.

  • Only talk to people you know and trust.

  • Think before you post. Once something is online, it can be hard to remove.

Need to Talk Right Now?

If you ever feel unsafe or just need someone to talk to, you can:
  • Speak to a trusted adult at BWJPS.

  • Call Childline on 0800 1111. They are open 24/7.

  • Visit the Childline website for online chat.
