BWJPS School Lunches

School Lunches

School LunchesSchool dinners are prepared on the premises.  The cost is confirmed by termly letter.  Payment for school meals should be sent in a sealed envelope, separate from other money, clearly marked with the child’s name, class and amount of money inside.  Please note that cheques  should be made payable to Bury MBC.  Dinner money should be brought to school each Monday (or the first day in school during the week), or may be paid termly, in advance.

If your child has special dietary needs, please convey this information in a written note to the school office  for the attention of the headteacher.  There is a choice of vegetarian or meat/fish menu, but we do need to know if your child will require the vegetarian option.

Children may bring fruit to school to eat at morning playtime, but in the interests of Kashrut, no other snacks, or sweets may be brought into school for consumption during the school day.  All children in the nursery, and infants receive a piece of fruit daily, as part of the National School Fruit Scheme.
